Attorney Stephen Foertsch Named Partner

Attorney Stephen Foertsch is named partner of Bruno Law.

Bruno Law, PLLC, is pleased to announce that Stephen Foertsch has been named partner, effective January 1, 2020. Stephen joined Bruno Law as an associate in 2017, after working for three years as a criminal defense attorney for another firm. He graduated in 2013 from William Mitchell College of Law (currently Mitchell Hamline School of Law), where he received the William H. Thompson Award for Professionalism and was selected as one of the school’s top oral advocates to represent the school in national moot court and mock trial competitions.

At Bruno Law, Stephen provides thorough and thoughtful defense for clients against all levels of state and federal criminal offenses, throughout the criminal justice process, including investigation, discovery, pretrial motions and negotiations, trial, and sentencing. He also educates future lawyers, as an adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline, and current lawyers, as a continuing legal education presenter and the co-author of a monthly column in the Bench & Bar magazine, a bi-monthly column in the Minnesota Police Journal, and yearly chapter in the Minnesota DWI Deskbook. He is the Editor-in-Chief of VI, the Minnesota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ (MACDL) quarterly publication. Stephen was also named a 2020 Super Lawyer Rising Star, and serves on the MACDL’s Board of Directors.

As partner, Stephen will continue to further Bruno Law’s tradition as the Gold Standard in Criminal Defense, by providing preeminent criminal defense to those under investigation or prosecution for state and federal offenses.
