Samantha is Bruno Law’s “Ghost in the Machine,” brilliantly defending Bruno Law’s clients through her research and writing. A law school salutatorian, Samantha is one of the best legal minds in criminal defense. She is responsible for Bruno Law’s motion practice and appeals, completing all the firm’s research and writing. Samantha has been instrumental in numerous victories before the state and federal district and appellate courts.

More About Samantha

Samantha graduated second in her class and magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law, where she received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the top grade in Advocacy, Appellate Law and Practice, and Constitutional Law. Prior to law school, Samantha graduated from the College of St. Benedict.

Samantha joined Bruno Law as a law clerk after her first year of law school, completing her remaining two years of law school while working full time. She has presented at CLEs throughout Minnesota, is a monthly columnist in the Bench and Bar Magazine, a yearly contributor to the Minnesota DWI Deskbook, has written for the Minnesota Women Lawyers quarterly journal, and authored the LexisNexis Practical Guidance Minnesota Criminal Law Forms. She also regularly assists other attorneys and law firms with research and drafting of various legal writings.

In her free time, Samantha enjoys gardening and relaxing at home with her husband Stephen, their children, Brooks, Colette, and Beau, and Goldendoodle, Penny Sue.
